Coffee & Crepes in Hammond

Cute coffee shops with sweet treats are my guilty pleasure and I would go there every day if I could. However, due to my busy school and tennis schedule, I have this opportunity mostly on weekends so I treat coffee shops as a reward for a busy work week.

Where to go to reward yourself with a sweet treat and coffee?

The other day, I visited a charming downtown aesthetic place in Hmmond called "Courtyard Cafe" that I found on https://www.tangiinfluencers.com/eat-drink?pgid=m0ufefn9-7d0c693f-28cc-46c0-a305-2befc702c051.The name of the coffee shop talks for itself, it is such a cute place with an adorable courtyard, perfect for pictures (especially for those like me, who are addicted to taking photos). It has a nice sitting area, an authentic fountain, and an aesthetic staircase that leads to apartments.

What can impress your taste buds?

Before going to Courtyard Cafe, I, of course, stalked their Instagram. They had so many pretty pictures of coffee, so I definitely planned to try my go-to almond milk latte. As I entered the coffee shop, I saw so many customers having sweet crepes, and I thought they might be their feature item, so I couldn't resist trying one.

I got a sweet funky monkey crepe that had bananas and Nutella, honestly my favorite duo and the crepe was awesome!

It was a pretty big portion that filled me up and sweet Nutella just goes so well with bananas. Honestly, every time I think about Courtyard my bud tastes just beg for this crepe.

My Nutella/banana obsession is so big that I have even found the recipe on how to make funky monkey crepe at home.

When I saw that the crepe station was visible to customers and they could see how their meal was being made, I immediately turned on my phone camera to take an aesthetic video.

Would I recommend Courtyard Cafe?

100%. I had a great experience in Courtyard Cafe. For me going to a coffee shop is not just about getting a coffee, it is more about enjoying little things there, like a cute coffee cup, a nice interior or a pretty backyard that is perfect for pictures. It is all about the right vibes and Courtyard Cafe completed its mission.
